I charge by the hour, and I have a one hour minumum.

For straight reading — no line edits — I can get through approximately 15 - 20 pages an hour. If I'm making line edits, then it's approximately 10 pages per hour. The exact rate depends on your work and I would need to see a sample of about 10 pages before confirming the rate.

This page-per-hour estimate is based on conventionally formated, 12 point Times or Times New Roman double spaced text.

Extra time spent on writing critiques, meeting in person or scheduled phone calls is also charged by the hour. The minimum time for a critique is one and a half hours. The minimum time for an in-person meeting is one hour. Phone calls are charged in half hour increments.

I accept payment by check, bank transfer or PayPal. For credit card payment via PayPal, a 3% service fee will be added to the invoice amount. For overseas payment via PayPal other charges may also apply.

We will always agree on a set price for the work before we commence.
